Cabbage Mix:

Shredded Cabbage
|

|
Lime (Juiced)

Tacos:
|
|
Smoked Paprika
|
1 Teaspoon
|
|
Kosher Salt
|
1 Teaspoon
|
|
Dry Mustard
|
1/2 Teaspoon
|
|
Cayenne Pepper
|
1/4 Teaspoon
|
|
Cumin
|
1/4 Teaspoon
|
|
Ground Oregano
|
1/4 Teaspoon
|
|
Skinless Halibut
|
1 lb.
|
|
Lime (Juiced)
|
1/2
|
|
Corn Tortillas
|
8 X 6 inch
|

Avocado (Skinned and Sliced

PREPARATION
|
|
Cabbage Mix:
|
|
1.
|
Pour Shredded Cabbage into a large mixing bowl.
|
|
2.
|
Add Olive Oil, Onions, Cilantro, Kosher Salt, and Lime Juice.
|
|
3.
|
Mix until consistent.
|
|
Halibut:
|
|
1.
|
Combine Smoked Paprika, Kosher Salt, Dry Mustard, Cayenne, Cumin, and Ground Oregano.
|
|
2.
|
Sprinkle Seasoning Mix over top side of Halibut; coat evenly.
|
|
3.
|
Place Halibut, seasoned side down, in frying pan over medium heat.
|
|
4.
|
Sprinkle Seasoning Mix over other side of Halibut; coat evenly.
|
|
5.
|
Flip Halibut after approximately 3 minutes, or until seared.
|
|
6.
|
- Squeeze 1/2 a Lime over Halibut.
|
|
7.
|
Flip Halibut again after approximately 3 minutes, or until seared.
|
|
8.
|
Cook each side for another 2-3 minutes each, or until Halibut is opaque and flaky.
|
|
Tacos:
|
|
1.
|
Place 2 oz. (approximately 1/4 of one filet) of Halibut in the center of a Corn Tortilla (crisp Tortilla over an oven burner if desired).
|
|
2.
|
Place small handful of Cabbage Mix over Halibut.
|
|
3.
|
Top with slice of Avocado.
|
|
4.
|
Serve & enjoy!
